Ascent Mode consumer health data privacy notice

Current test-service notice · October 9, 2026 · version 2026-10-09.4

Consumer health data we collect

Body measurements, fitness goals, workout sets, exercise loads, workout/recovery notes and ratings, and training history you choose to save. Sources are your own entries, values you confirm after on-device screenshot recognition, and supported Apple Health or Android Health Connect body measurements that you authorize and synchronize.

Purpose and recipients

We use these records for the training plan, workout logging, progression and body trends you request. Cloudflare Workers hosts the app and Cloudflare D1 stores training records. Google Firebase handles sign-in credentials, not workout or body values. We do not sell health data or use it for marketing or targeted advertising. Optional Crew shares nickname and challenge progress with participants; it doesn't share private body measurements, loads or notes. No third-party advertising SDK is installed.

Choices, access and deletion

Settings → Privacy provides an export of your records and privacy choice history. You can remove body records, disconnect paired phones, revoke health permissions in phone settings, pause Crew, and delete the Ascent account. Disconnecting a phone stops future access but doesn't remove earlier imports. Account deletion removes live health and fitness records, connections and privacy records. Original health-store data, exported files and other devices' offline copies require separate removal. A minimal account deletion marker blocks delayed uploads from restoring records.

Operator, requests and retention

Operated by Ascent Mode, LLC. Contact privacy@ascentmode.app for privacy requests, including health-data rights and appeals. For account or app help, email support@ascentmode.app.

Your saved service records remain until you delete them or your account. A minimal account identifier and deletion time prevent delayed uploads from recreating deleted records. Exported files and other devices' offline copies require separate removal.

This is the current test-service notice. The request/appeal procedure, processor backup/log retention and state-specific health-data policy review must be completed before wider release. No backup-purge deadline is promised by this notice.
